We will be applying monthly patches across our backend infrastructure starting at 2022-10-22 at 07:00 PDT and going for 24 hours. Monthly patching is necessary for us to be on top of the latest security fixes for the software we run. This involves a rolling restart of the backend infrastructure serving the AoC API during this time. Other changes include: * Upgrades/patching to our API gateway services. We will be switching the AoC API to a different IP address as a consequence. * Upgrades/patching to services that allow authentication to storage buckets. These services run in a highly available configuration. Transfers may fail when these processes perform their leader election process. Please retry your requests should your transfers fail.
Note: As noted above, api.ibmaspera.com will be resolving to a new IP address after this maintenance. Any firewall rules allow-listing the AoC API with an IP address must be changed to allow the DNS name instead - api.ibmaspera.com.
API calls might fail in-flight during this time or events being ingested taking longer to be parsed. Please retry your API requests and/or transfers during this time should you encounter any issues.
