Announcement: Launch of Aspera on Cloud updated user interface now set for March 9, 2022
IBM Aspera is excited to be introducing a new user experience for our Aspera on Cloud customers. Built on the Carbon open source design system, the new interface introduces. - light and dark mode - http gateway integration - improved transfer monitoring - simpler file management - improved file browsing performance - fully mobile responsive UI - support for Right to Left languages The beta for these new features has been running very successfully for the past 3 months with large customers across several industries, including Media & Entertainment, Information Technology, Semiconductors, and Heavy Equipment. Given this positive feedback, IBM is anticipating significant interest in adoption of the new experience. For that reason, we are taking the extra precaution to scale out load testing even more aggressively to ensure we are ready to meet demand. Therefore, the beta will remain open in the meantime for any customer who would like early access to the new experience. On 2022-02-09, we will be deploying the next generation of Aspera on Cloud. This release is a significant upgrade to the application. Functionality has been maintained, yet the app will have a new user interface with faster loading times. We extend gracious thanks to our beta customers and those that helped participate in the design discussions. We are anxious to have you all enjoy the labors of our hard work.
